Daily Chosen Dishes for Everyone

Located in the heart of Old City, Revolution Diner strives to provide freshly prepared meals at a low cost to our guest.

Our philosophy is that a Revolution in Dining starts at great service and food. It stems from the desire to grant Philadelphia's tourists and natives an opporunity to dine in the city without breaking the bank.

OLD CITY HAS A 24-HOUR DINER

The logo, showing a flag-waving, tricorn-hat-wearing patriot, has a certain clip-art charm. Barra's bar is still there. Menu (alas, not yet available online) is the size of a small city's phone book.

OLD CITY'S GOT A NEW-24 HOUR DINER

In a city which boasts some of the finest diners in the entire country, Revolution Diner hopes to make a lasting impression on the Old City scene. Per this report by Philly.com, the new diner at 239-241 Chestnut Street (between The Little Lion and Old City's Best Western) is the reconceptualization of Imad Dawara's Barra and B-Side. The diner's name coincides with, of course, the neighborhood's historical relevance, but also with the soon-to-open Museum of the American Revolution, just across the street.
